KYAA is proudly volunteer-driven. Our committees help organize, manage, and improve every aspect of our baseball and softball programs. Below you’ll find our committee structure, current Chairs, and a brief overview of each group’s responsibilities.

⚾🥎 Rules Committee
Baseball Chair: Matt Salkowski
Softball Chair: Josh Werst
Oversees league rules, division guidelines, and policy interpretation to ensure fair play, safety, and consistency across all levels of play.
📝 Signups Committee
Chair: Michelle Yearick
Manages player registration, program enrollment, and system coordination to ensure a smooth sign-up process for families each season.
🧢 Equipment Committee
Chair: Laura Werst
Oversees ordering, inventory, and distribution of gear, and team equipment to ensure all players and coaches are properly outfitted.
🏆 Tournaments Committee

Softball Chair: Kayla Rohrbach
Plans and coordinates KYAA tournaments, including logistics, scheduling, volunteers, and communication with visiting teams.
💰 Fundraising Committee
Chair: Kayla Rohrbach
Leads sponsorship outreach and fundraising initiatives that help support KYAA operations, capital improvements, and player opportunities.
👥 Membership Committee
Chair: Michelle Yearick
Oversees KYAA voting membership, maintains accurate membership records, and ensures compliance with league bylaws and eligibility requirements. This committee also actively recruits and engages volunteers to support committees, events, and league operations throughout the year.
🌱 Fields Committee
Chair: Brad Yearick
Oversees the maintenance and preparation of all KYAA playing fields to ensure safe and playable conditions throughout the season.
🏟️ Building Maintenance Committee
Chair: Andrew Schoenly
Responsible for the upkeep and repair of KYAA buildings, surrounding grounds (excluding playing surfaces), dugouts, fencing, and infrastructure to keep facilities safe and functional.
🎉 Events Committee
Chair: Jason Garcia
Plans and coordinates special events such as Opening Day, community events, celebrations, and league-wide activities that build the KYAA experience.
📸 Picture Day Committee
Chair: Michelle Yearick
Organizes league Picture Day logistics, scheduling, vendor coordination, and communication with families.
🥎 Quickball Committee
Chair: Michelle Yearick
Oversees KYAA’s Quickball program, focusing on skill development, instruction, and introducing young athletes to the game in a fun, supportive environment.
📣 Communication & Marketing Committee
Chair: Jason Garcia
Manages the KYAA website, social media, email communications, and promotional efforts to keep families informed and engaged.
