Fastpitch Softball Bats

Fastpitch softball bats have 2-1/4" barrel diameters and are made of aluminum alloys or composite materials.  They come in a wide range of lengths (26" to 34") and weights.  The bat's weight is generally listed using the term "drop."  The drop is the difference between the bat's length and weight in ounces.  For example, a 32" bat with a -8 drop weighs 24 ounces.

Certifications: Fastpitch softball bats certified for the ASA or USSSA will be legal in most leagues, making this certification a reliable choice for competition bats.
